After scuffle between Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Jamiat Ulma-e-Islam, high level talks between both the parties have been initiated. JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman met PML-N leaders Ishaq Dar and Sardar Mehtab Abbasi in the Parliament House. Sources said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman asked about the harsh statements of Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan whether the statements were his personal or according to PML-N policy. He also raised questions over Chaudhary Nisar's performance to unite the opposition parties. After the an-hour long meeting, the JUI-F chief while talking to media persons said that both the parties placed their reservations, added that the time was for the opposition parties to confront each other. He said that reservations would be resolved with discussion. He also said that PML-N accepted that its contacts with other parties were not effected. The opposition should present a unanimous formula over national issues, he stated. The JUI-F chief further said that initiatives being taken to resolve the issue of the chairmanship of Senate's parliamentary committees through consensus.
