ISLAMABAD - President Awami Muslim League (AML), Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, on Tuesday announced postponement of his scheduled train march from Rawalpindi to Lahore over security concerns.
Talking to media persons Tuesday, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that GM Railways had refused to provide security for the train march. He said that AML would now use its power to greet Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Dr Tahirul Qadri, who is due to arrive in Pakistan on June 23.
The AML leader quoted intelligence officials saying that two suicide bombers could target him.
