‘Oil & Gas 2014 Summit’ kicks-off in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD- A two-day Oil & Gas 2014 Summit began today in Islamabad with official endorsement of ministry of petroleum and natural resources.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Minister of petroleum and natural resources; Jam Kamal Khan, Minister of state for petroleum and natural resources; Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister of water & power and Ahsan Iqbal, Minister of planning and development opened the summit with keynote speeches. The London based International Research Network (IRN) is organizing the event.

The two day summit will gather high profile executives from the oil and gas operating companies in the country such as the Oil & Gas Development Company of Pakistan, Polish Oil & Gas Company, Ocean Pakistan, Byco Petroleum, Premier Oil, Heritage Oil & Gas, Government Holdings, Tullow Pakistan Developments, MOL Pakistan Oil & Gas and OMV along with leading service provider companies such as CNPC’s subsidiary BGP, Quantum Energy and Veritas Academy.

The Pakistan Oil & Gas Summit is officially supported by the Energy Lawyers Association of Pakistan and the International Gas Association Cedigaz while gold sponsors of the summit are CNPC’s subsidiary BGP, Quantum Energy and Veritas Academy.
