The National Assembly has sent a Constitutional Amendment Bill 2011 to the Standing Committee on Law. The bill has suggested that a sub-clause should be added in Article 63 of the Constitution which will declare all double nationality holders as ineligible for government post. PML-Qs Raza Hayat Haraj, while presenting the bill in the National Assembly, said that the bill was aimed at blocking the way of those people having double nationality and foreign bank accounts.
