NHA to link N-75 with Muzaffarabad Expressway

Islamabad - National Highway Authority (NHA) has planned to extend Islamabad-Murree Expressway (N-75) to Kohala and connect it with Muzaffarabad Expressway.
For this purpose the NHA has already invited Expression of Interests (EO1s) from the construction firms for conducting feasibility study and design of the project. Formalities associated with construction of the project will commence after completion of the feasibility study, said an official of the NHA.
He said that the timeframe given for completion of feasibility study of the project and design is four months. Procurement process, including tender will be initiated soon after completion of feasibility study.
To a question, he said that the expected time by which the construction work on the said project will be initiated along with estimated cost will be ascertained after completion of feasibility and design of the project. The Murree Expressway (N-75), also known as the Islamabad-Murree Expressway or the Islamabad-Murree-Muzaffarabad Expressway is a four-lane expressway connecting Islamabad to Murree.
 The expressway passes through Barakahu, Murree, Phulgran, Upper Topa, Lower Topa, Bhurban, Aliyot and Phagwari before ending just outside Kohala.
