QAU awards 12 PhD degrees



ISLAMABAD: Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) has awarded 12 PhD degrees to research scholars in different disciplines of natural and biological sciences in its 291st monthly meeting of advance research and studies board (ASRB).
Prof Dr Eatzaz Ahmed, vice chancellor QAU, presided over the ASRB meeting here the other day. After thoroughly examining the reports of foreign research experts from technologically advanced countries, the PhD Degrees were awarded to Shafiq Ullah, Barkat-ul-Ain, Mushtaq Ahmad, Ghulam Waris, Nazim Gul, Farukh Jabeen, Muhammad Iqbal and Hidayat Ullah in chemistry, Atieh Taherain Fard and Muneer Ahmad Qazi in microbiology, and Asia Anjum in mathematics.–Staff Reporter
