Ahmed Raza Qasuri has said that the reference against Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry was sent to the Supreme Judicial Council on the advice of the prime minister. A private TV reported. Qasuri said Musharrafs confession of mistake on sacking of the chief justice is a gracious gesture, however, what he did was legally correct.
