Officials say a suspected US missile strike has killed five alleged militants in North Waziristan, the area bordering Afghanistan. The officials say Sunday's strike targeted a house belonging to a local militant in the town of Datta Khel in the North Waziristan tribal area. There have been at least 14 suspected U.S. missile strikes this month, the most intense barrage since they began in 2004. Hundreds of Pakistani civilians have been killed along with few militants in the CIA-backed drone strikes inside Pakistani territory. The strikes have a tacit support of Islamabad as well, which authorities deny.
