Qadri asks Sharifs to join PAT

ISLAMABAD - Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Dr. Tahirul Qadri in a jubilant mood on Thursday invited Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif to join PAT after resigning from their posts.
In a way he maintained his demands for their resignations while giving it another colour. He not only offered the two dignataries to join Inqlab March but also tried to disgrace them by giving an impression that they could become PAT workers. Qadri said mentioning Nawaz Sharif, “I urge him to become my worker again”.
During his speech, he claimed that he had illuminated the light of freedom in the hearts of the poor. “If the poor get up, the current system will vanish,” he said.
Addressing the protesters at the sit-in in Islamabad Thursday, Dr. Qadri asked the Punjab Chief Minister to join the ‘revolution march’. Dr Tahirul Qadri said that the criminals are wandering unchecked. He said that the people who cannot get justice are joining the sit-in. He said that the process of revolution has started in the courts. He said that the PTV transmission was blocked by the same people who had later restored it. Earlier, Dr. Tahirul Qadri said that revolution was approaching near and soon the incumbent PML-N regime would be thrown out. He said the revolution has already taken place in minds and perception of people. “The poor will throw out the sitting rulers. Revolution began in courts and a lot more is to be done now,” he added. Dr. Qadri said he did not know that how did the transmission of PTV suspend. He said an employee of interior ministry resigned and joined the march.
