In Rawalpindi, 406 schools to get SIMs

RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi district education department has decided to provide mobile SIMs to 406 ‘A-grade’ and ‘A-plus grade’ government schools to enable them to make immediate contact with law enforcement agencies in case of emergency.
These SIMs will be issued to primary, middle and high schools and in the event of any emergency, law enforcement agencies will be alerted immediately.
A source said that around 207 A-plus and 199 A-grade schools with over 500 students each were currently operating in district Rawalpindi.
