Trader gunned down in Pindi

Rawalpindi - A 45-year-old trader was gunned down by two unknown assailants in a hit and run attack at Railway Workshop Road here on Friday. The deceased was identified as Mohib Ullah, a Bajaur-based trader running his business at Raja Bazar.
According to Sub Inspector (SI) Nawaz, In-charge of Chowky Number 4 controlled by Police Station Ratta Amral, the incident took place at 5:30pm and Mohib was going back his home after offering Magrib prayer in a mosque on the Railway Workshop Road when two unknown men riding on a bike attacked him and fled.
As a result, Mohib sustained bullet injuries in his head and chest and died. “Later the dead body was shifted to DHQ for post mortem,” he added. He said the reason behind the murder could not be ascertained so far while police started investigation after filing murder case.
