ISLAMABAD : Pakistan on Wednesday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the convoy of Haji Mohammad Mohaqiq, prominent Afghan lawmaker and Chairman of the People's Islamic Unity Party of Afghanistan, in Kabul. "We are relieved to learn that Haji Mohammad Mohaqiq survived this heinous terrorist attack," a statement issued by Foreign Office said. It said that Pakistan stands in solidarity with all Afghans suffering from the continuous violence and instability.
 "We will continue to work closely with Afghanistan to eliminate terrorism and extremism from our region," it added.
