RAC holds Siddique Akbar (RA) Conference



RAWALPINDI - Siddique Akbar (RA) Conference was organised by Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) on Saturday in connection with the death anniversary of the First Caliph of Islam Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (RA).The conference titled ‘Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (RA) as Khadim-e-Islam’ was arranged in collaboration with Anjman Jalalia Rizvia Rawalpindi. On the occasion, Nazriya Pakistan Council Trust (NPCT) Director Research Dr Riaz Ahmed was the chief guest whereas RAC Resident Director Waqar Ahmed, Muhammad Naveed ul Hasan Shah, caretaker Bhikhi Sharif chaired the conference.Paying rich tributes to Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (RA), Dr Riaz Ahmed urged the Muslims to get enlightenment from the companions of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and follow their example to resolve prevailing problems.Speaking at Hazrat Siddique Akbar Conference, Waqar Ahmed said that company of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) enlightened the personality of Hazrat Abu Bakar (RA) that would serve as beacon light for the entire Muslim Ummah. Muhammad Naveed ul Hasan Shah, Sajaada Nasheen Bhikhi Sharif, said that for following Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH), it was important to get guidance from the life of Hazrat Abu Bakar (RA). Muhammad Zafar Jalali, Central Secretary General Anjman Jalalia Rizvia, was of the view that Hazrat Abu Bakar (RA) always followed the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and fought against evil forces. The conference was attended by a large number of people from Rawalpindi/Islamabad.
