Cops, protesters pouring in hospitals

ISLAMABAD - Overcrowding and consumption of unhygienic food and water has sent around 65 countrymen to hospitals in the Capital.
Around 50 patients, including 40 police personnel and 10 marchers of PTI and PAT were given medical treatment at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) emergency ward for mild dehydration, diarrhea, Gastro and other such stomach problems in two days. The hospital officials said that the patients suffered from dehydration due to vomiting and diarrhea and were not given enough replacement to recover, causing weakness and exhaustion. "The marchers are not taking care of their personal and environmental hygiene therefore they could easily fall prey to various viral infections," they said.
Fifteen policemen also went to the Polyclinic Hospital with complaints of diarrhea and dehydration, who were, later on, discharged after treatment.
