ISLAMABAD A cop was crushed to death in a hit-and-run road accident on Saturday, police said. According to police, constable Abdul Ghaffar was on his way on bike when a speeding bus strongly hit him resultantly he died on the spot. Police said that according to eyewitness, speeding bus belonged to Federal Government Boys College, H-9, and further investigations were under way in this regard. Constable Abdul Ghaffar was posted at Secretariat Police Station. A spokesman for Islamabad Police said that funeral prayer of Ghaffar was held at Police Line Headquarters. He said that SSP Tahir Alam Khan and all SPs attended the funeral prayer of the deceased.
