ISLAMABAD - The chief of his own faction of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-S) Maulana Samiul Haq on Monday welcomed the Taliban's offer for holding talks with the government. He called on the government to take immediate steps to initiate the dialogue process.Talking to a private TV channel Maulana Samiul Haq said that losses were being incurred by both sides on a daily basis which was regrettable. He said following his meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, he had approached the Taliban the next day.
