ISLAMABAD - Pakistan has strongly condemned terrorist attack that took place in Suruc, Sanliurfa Province of Turkey on Monday.
“We condemn in the strongest terms the terrorist attack that took place in Suruc, Sanliurfa Province of Turkey, today, in which so many precious lives have been lost,” Foreign Office said in a statement. Pakistan reaffirmed its condemnation of terrorism in all forms and manifestations, the statement said, conveying heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the brotherly people and government of Turkey.
At least 30 people were killed and 100 others wounded in an explosion in the southeastern town of Suruc near the Syrian border on Monday.
A Turkish government official said the blast took place in the garden of a culture centre of the town which lies opposite the Syrian flashpoint town of Kobane.
