ISLAMABAD: Mobile phone service in Islamabad and Rawalpindi was suspended on early Monday morning as a precaution to avert any untoward incident ahead of Pakistan Day parade rehearsal.

The cell phone service remained suspended in the twin cities till 3:00pm.

On the other hand, entry of heavy traffic in Islamabad has also been banned while the roads around the venue of the Pakistan Day parade will remain closed for all kind of traffic.
