Islamabad - Minister of State Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhary said that capital’s five special children’s educational institutions would also be upgraded through Prime Minister Education Reforms Programme.
Talking to APP here he said, the government has transferred these schools to the ministry of CADD aiming at to renovate them. The Minister of State said through the ongoing reforms programme, five new buses has also been granted to these institutions for special students with disabilities.
He said that new teachers were being hired to meet the need of the teaching faculty in these educational institutions. Tariq Fazal said teacher training program to train the teaching faculty was also underway so that they can enable their students to face the challenges and cope with the changes in the world. He said the standard of education in public schools would be improved to reduce the gap between public and private educational institutions. The Minister of State said the a “Curriculum Wing” has been create in the ministry of CADD adding that a building has also been allocated to this wing. This wing was create to modernize the curriculum of the educational institutions according to the need of the hour, he added.
Tariq Fazal said “The Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz were paying special attention for the promotion of education sector and the journey of progress would be continued under their supervision.”
