Islamabad: Heavy vehicles banned

Islamabad- Heavy vehicular traffic has been banned in Islamabad for three months in the wake of construction work on Metro Bus Project.
Ban has been imposed by SSP Traffic and ban orders will take effect from 700 hrs to 900 hrs and 1400 hrs to 1600 hrs daily. Government has started work on metro bus project due to which all the highways have been closed for vehicular traffic. This situation leads to intensify traffic rush on alternate routes. Therefore, ban has been imposed on entry of heavy vehicles in federal capital for four hours daily. SSP Traffic Asmat Ullah has said this decision has been taken to facilitate the citizens in Islamabad.
