Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani would brief Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani about ongoing operation in tribal areas. Addressing National Assembly session, Prime Minister said that Army Chief has been called today to get briefing on national security issues. He said Parliamentary committee on national security has also summoned ministers of defence, foreign affairs and Inter-services Intelligence (ISI) officials in next session. Premier Gilani condemned Dera Ismail Khan blast and ordered enquiry of the incident.
