ISLAMABAD : President Mamnoon Hussain has summoned the National Assembly session on August 4th. The session of the assembly is expected to be stormy as Opposition members have filed adjournment motions and call attention notices for debate on important national issues. The session would also continue during the Azadi March of PTI and expected protest march of Awami Tehrik Chief Dr Tahirul Qadri. Sources said the session in addition to normal business will hold debate on law and order situation, operation in North Waziristan by Pakistan Army against terrorists, issue of IDPs, massive load shedding and political situation in the country. Circles close to the government said the session has been convened to defuse the Opposition protests by taking issues concerning the marches in the elected house. 3 PAF officers, one judge promotedPresident Mamnoon Hussain has approved promotion of three officers of Pakistan Air Force and a judge of Accountability Court.President has promoted three Vice Air Marshal of Air Force to the designation of Air Marshal.  Appointments of all the three officers on next position were made on the advice of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The promoted officers are Saeed Muhammad Khan, Javaid Muhammad and Rashid Kamal.  Judge Mehboob Qadir Shah has been appointed in Accountability Court of Lahore. Notification of appointment on next positions has been issued.
