ISLAMABAD - Saeed Anwar (154 not out) sailed Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) in achieving 246 runs target to post a massive win by 8 wickets against Pakistan Customs in the Royal Bank of Scotland Cup cricket match at KRL Cricket Stadium Rawalpindi on Saturday. The losers set a reasonable total on the board of 245 runs in the 50 overs innings, however, their all batsmen wasted their wickets as two balls were spare. Jibran Khan (86) and Rameez Raja (55) were the main scorers for the Custom. Test bowler Shoaib Akhter could not show any impressive performance with the ball for KRL. He claimed only one wicket in his 10 overs. However, KRL reached home in the 38th over of the innings with the spectacular unbeaten innings of Saeed Anwer of 154 runs in just 129 balls. Azhar Ali contributed with 67 runs. Farhan Ayub and Asad Iqbal got each one wicket for Pakistan Custom.
