Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar has said that there is no stand off with US regarding reopening of Nato route supply and we are hoping to get closure on this issue based on mutual acceptable terms. Speaking to Time Now, the foreign minister said that Pakistan has no standoff with any country regarding Afghanistan issue. Pakistan has been an enabler and facilitator for durable peace and stability in Afghanistan. We have played this role for 10 years effectively. She said relations with Afghanistan have not been at its best in the past, but the democratic government of Pakistan has placed the relations on the right track. Foreign Minister downplayed the incident of President Zardari’s absence from the NATO photo session and said that she hopes there is closure on the NATO supply route issue and that moving forward is the need of the hour.
