Three people including a woman were killed and at least 18 people sustained injuries, among them six children, as a suicide bomber blew himself up in Momin Town at Wala Zaak Road, report said. According to preliminary reports, the suicide bomber blew himself up in a residential area after the exchange of fire with local people, killing three people woman on the spot and injuring some 18 people. A large number of area people thronged that spot after the incident that created widespread panic in the area. Edhi and other rescue team also arrive the scene and kicked off rescue operations. Talking to the media persons, DCO Peshawar put the injured toll at 16. He said there was no clear target of the bomber and confirmed that the blast was a suicide blast. Later, Minister for Interior Rehman Malik sought a report into the incident.
