ISLAMABAD - Federal Information Minister Pervez Rashid Tuesday predicted that Azadi March of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) would prove a quick march.
Talking to media persons outside the Parliament House, the minister requested Imran Khan to let people live with peace. He said whole nation is helping out IDPs but Imran Khan is insisting to show his popularity through long march on August 14.
Pervaiz Rashid said he requests Imran to focus on the issue of IDPs rather than polishing his politics. He said matter of IDPs is more important than any other political issue and helping the migrated people from North Waziristan is need of the hour. He said with long march, the CDA would have to face more burden of work for cleanliness.
The minister said Pakistan would not allow any terror outfit to use its soil to attack any other country, adding that any other country should not interfere in internal matters of Pakistan. He said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy great relationship and Prime Minister Sharif’s recent visit would boost these ties. The minister said that Pakistan Protection Act became law of the country and would be used to handle terrorists with an iron hand. He further said that out of 342 MNAs, more than 300 are opposed to the long march.
