islamabad - Islamabad police have arrested five outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered three non-custom paid vehicles, weapons and narcotics from their possession, a police spokesman said.
He said that Golra police station nabbed Usman Khan for having a 30-bore pistol while Sabzi Mandi police arrested Kaleem and recovered snatched items and one 30-bore pistol from him.
Anti-Car Lifting Cell of Islamabad police nabbed Asif and recovered three non-custom paid vehicles from him bearing fake registration numbers (AOP-159, LRA-2727 and BT-378). Aabpara police arrested Basharat and recovered 265 grams hashish from him while Aaqib Shamim was held by Nilore police for decanting gas in cylinders illegally. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. Meanwhile, ten professional alms-seekers were also held from various areas of the city. SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appreciated this overall performance of police.
