IIU screens documentary on Quaid's life

ISLAMABAD International Islamic University (Women Campus) Wednesday held a ceremony in connection with the 133rd birthday of the founder of the nation Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah. President IIUI Dr Anwar Siddiqui and Students Advisor Ms Qaisra Alvi besides other speakers addressed the ceremony. Dr Anwar in his speech advised the students to learn from the struggle made by Quaid-i-Azam for the creation of Pakistan and seek inspiration from his life and achievements. He said that Quaid-i-Azam had united the Muslims of Indian sub-continent under one flag. He also stressed the students to be vigilant regarding the activities of the nations enemies hidden among ourselves. He also advised them to draw wisdom from the sayings and deeds of Quaid. Qaisra Alvi in her address stressed for keeping alive in their minds, the spirit behind the creation of Pakistan. She also paid rich tributes to Quaid-i-Azam. After the speeches, a documentary film of three hours duration was screened on Quaids life, struggle and sacrifices of millions of Muslims to remind the students of struggle made for Pakistan and reminded them of the spirit behind creation of Pakistan.
