ISLAMABAD - US Ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson has expressed his grief over the death of Senior Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bashir Ahmed Bilour in a suicide attack on Saturday and offered condolences to his family and friends.
In a statement here, the Ambassador said Bashir Bilour was a courageous man and an outspoken voice against the politics of fear and terror. He said the US applaud his commitment to democratic values, which led him into harm’s way more than once.  
He said the US Embassy joins the people of Pakistan in condemning this outrageous attack, and hope that his vision of a secure and prosperous Pakistan will continue in the work of those that he inspired.
