Police bust inter-provincial gang of criminals

Islamabad - Crime Investigation Agency (CIA), Islamabad has busted an inter-provincial gang of criminals and recovered weapons and three snatched motorbikes from their possession.
A team of CIA police headed by DSP Fida Hussain Satti and comprising Sub-Inspector Mansoor Hussain, ASI Ameer Sajjad and others succeeded in arresting four criminals later identified as Shah Roon alias Kashif, Danish Iqbal, Bin Yameen and Imran Ehsan. The police also recovered three snatched motorbikes, four pistols and 78 rounds from them. Five dacoity cases had already been registered against them at Industrial Area police station Islamabad.  The accused have confessed to strike in various areas of Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Karachi.
Accused Shah Roon has had been declared as proclaimed offender by Karachi police. Investigation is underway and police are hopeful for more recovery from them.
SSP Islamabad Asmat Ullah Junejo appreciated the performance of CIA police team and announced cash prizes and commendation certificates for its members.
Separately, Islamabad police arrested seven outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered stolen car, weapons, 56 wine bottles and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said.
According to details, Kohsar police nabbed a bootlegger Irfan Masih and recovered 34 wine bottles from him while Bilal Iqbal and Hassan Nawaz were arrested by Shalimar police who were in possession of six cans of beer.
Tarnol police recovered a 30-bore pistol from an accused Salman while two wine bottles were recovered from Slaim Masih. Similarly, Bania Gala police apprehended Aslam Masih in possession of 20 wine bottles.
Anti-car lifting cell of Islamabad police recovered a car (ADC-355) from Khuram Shehzad which was found stolen from Saddr police station area of Gujrat. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway.
