PMDC categorises recognised colleges

Islamabad - Pakistan Medical and Dental Council in its 139th session has decided to categorise PMDC’s recognised colleges as `A’ and `B’, keeping in view their latest treatment facilities. According to the PMDC, medical colleges having facilities like 500-bedded own teaching hospital, nursing college, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computerised tomography (CT) scan had been placed in the category `A’. “Rest of all are categorised as ‘B.’ Besides others, Margallah College of Dentistry, Rawalpindi has been awarded category `A’ under the group of Standalone Dental Colleges.
