ISLAMABAD - Muslims across the country observed Jumat-ul-Wida, last Friday of the holy month of Ramzan, with religious reverence today.

A huge number of followers visited mosques to offer prayers with respect and honor as the day bears key importance for Muslims. Scholars delivered lectures on importance of Ramzan and urged the followers to tread the path of Allah and the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him).
Special prayers were dedicated to the prosperity of and solidarity among the Muslim nations.

All cities including the capital prepared security plans to thwart any untoward incident and all mosques were secured with tight surveillance.
