ISLAMABAD (APP) - Islamabad Traffic Police in its special campaign against one-wheeling and car racing issued 1,443 traffic violation tickets to the violators during the last three days while impounded 54 motorcycles and two racer cars. The SSP (Traffic), Dr Moeen Masood appealed the parents to stop their children from participating in games like one-wheeling and car racing, which proved to be dangerous. According to details, SSP (Traffic) Dr Moeen Masood set a special squad to check the one-wheeling and car racing. During the last three days, the squad issued 1,443 traffic violation tickets to the violators and impounded 54 motor cycles and two cars for the said violations. It was revealed in the report presented hereon Thursday before the SSP Traffic for the progress of the squad. The SSP directed the staffers to continue their campaign and take strict action against one-wheeling which is not only dangerous for the violators but also for the lives of other people. The SSP apprised the parents to stop their children from participating in dangerous game like one wheeling which risk their lives. No laxity will be tolerated in this regard and legal action will be taken against the violators, he maintained.
