Senate panel seeks report from CDA






ISLAMABAD - Senate Standing Committee on Cabinet Division on Monday expressed dissatisfaction over the affairs of CDA, particularly the alleged allotment of 40 plots in F-11 sector.
The committee presided over by Senator Kalsoom Parveen sought recommendations over the issue within 15 days. The committee also discussed in length policy of CDA requisition services of the officers on deputation basis.
The committee expressed dissatisfaction over the affairs of CDA particularly the alleged allotment of plots. Members of the committee termed the briefing as insufficient and said that the matter is great importance and therefore require detailed deliberations to put things on track.
The committee was informed that there are 40 officers working on deputation in BS-16 to BS-19 and those who have completed three years deputation period would be repatriated to their parent department.
The committee advised CDA to work according to the rules and regulation and avoid unnecessary appointments. The committee also advised that the quota of recruitment of Balochistan province may be filled in accordance as fixed in the constitution. Senators Kamil Ali Agha, Muhammad Yousaf and Saeeda Iqbal also participated in the meeting.
