ISLAMABAD - Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad Police and Anti-Car lifting Cell police on Monday arrested four car lifters and also busted two gangs of dacoits who were wanted to police in several crime cases, a police spokesman said.According to a press note issued from office of SSP Islamabad, special teams were constituted by SSP Islamabad Yaseen Farooq under supervision of SP (Investigation) Mustansar Feeroz which were given the task to keep vigilante eye on criminal elements and ensure arrest of dacoits and car lifters. These special teams including DSP CIA Zubair Ahmed Sheikh and In-Charge Anti Car Lifting Cell Inspector Ruksar Medhi, Sub- Inspector Shams Akbar and Muhammad Akbar succeeded to bust gangs of dacoits and car thieves.According to details, ACLC police team arrested three car lifters red handed from the area of Tarnol police station having Afghan nationality. They were identified as Yar Muhammad, Lal Zada and Awal Khan. On the basis of information provided by them, Police also arrested a car receiver Dil Jan s/o Muhammad Jan and recovered a stolen car, jammer system and three pistols form them. During the initial investigation, these accused confessed their involvement in car lifting cases at various areas of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Further investigation is underway from them.police team busted a gang of dacoits in sector G-8/1 and recovered three pistols from them. The gangsters were identified as Nawaz, Alam Khan, Sadat Khan and Rehm Dad.Meanwhile, Sub Inspector Shams-ul-Akbar along with police team arrested gangs of dacoits Aneel , Skindar Jameel and Kashif who were wanted to police in several crime cases and recovered snatched cash amounting to rupees 70,000 from their possession.Inspector General of police Bani Amin Khan and SSP Islamabad Yaseen Farooq have appreciated this overall performance and directed all heads of police stations to ensure the arrest of anti-social elements and report to him on daily basis in this regard.This news was published in The Nation newspaper.
