13 outlaws arrested in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi - Police during a special drive against anti-social elements apprehended 13 outlaws and recovered 5 litres alcohol, a pistol of 30-bore with 4 bullets, a dagger and a stolen LCD from their possession.
According to details, police in Naseerabad raided a gambling den and arrested 9 gamblers. Police also seized Rs 34930 cash and 8 mobile phones. All the accused were shifted to police station Naseerabad where a case has been registered against them. The accused were identified as Jahangir, Bisharat, Iftikhar, Munir Ahmed, Baksh Ehali, Muhammad Ishtiaq, Naveed, Shujat and Usman. Later, police produced the accused before a court of law which sent them to Adyala Jail.
On the other hand, police carried out a search operation in Afshan Colony. During the door to door search operation, police checked 45 houses. However, no body was taken into custody.
