IIUI hailed for spreading Islam’s message of peace

Islamabad - Egyptian Ambassador to Pakistan Sherif Mohamed Shahin Sunday hailed International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) for disseminating Islam’s message of peace and tranquility.
The President IIUI Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, called on him here on Sunday at Egyptian Embassy.

Expressing delight over the meeting with the IIUI President, Sherif Mohamed Shahin assured that Egyptian government and especially Al-Azhar University would continue cooperation with IIUI. He said that the university is playing a significant role in promotion of Islamic education and disseminating Islam’s message of peace, tranquility and moderation.
Dr Al-Draiweesh appreciated Al-Azhar University for providing support in terms of faculty and hoped that the Egyptian government and Al-Azhar would keep supporting IIUI. He said that Al-Azhar University’s cooperation has doubled the pace of IIUI progress as its support helping in achieving varsity’s lofty goals.
The IIUI President also apprised the ambassador regarding university’s goals and objectives.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. Khalid Fowad Head Al-Azhar Mission at IIUI and Dr Ashraf Abdul Rafy, a senior faculty member at IIUI.
