Islamabad - A local court Thursday summoned station house officer (SHO) Police Station (PS) Aabpara for not registering another first information report (FIR) against former President Pervez Musharraf and others for launching Lal Masjid operation.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Wajid Ali Khan directed the SHO to appear before the court in this regard and adjourned the hearing till September 30.
The court issued these directions in an application filed by Jan Muhammad Qureshi, the father of Shehzad Qureshi who was killed in Lal Masjid operation in July 2007. Jan Muhammad Qureshi on behalf of Shohada Foundation of Pakistan (SFP) moved the petition in the court under section 22-A through his counsel Malik Abdul Haq Advocate and made SHO Aabpara as respondent.

In this connection, the plaintiff submitted an application with the Aabpara police but the police did not register the case. Therefore, he prayed to the court to direct the SHO for registration of second FIR in this matter against the people nominated in the application.
