RAWALPINDI - Effective steps are underway to keep the dengue threat at bay in Rawalpindi City.  DCO Rawalpindi, Saqib Zafar inspected under construction plazas and buildings of the city alongwith some officials. Dengue spray has already been carried out in 46 union councils of Rawal Town, and many of Potohar Town as well; while many redundant and possibly infected tires have also been confiscated and destroyed.
Shopkeepers have been warned against keeping infected tires, in order to ensure dengue-free environment.
