ISLAMABAD - Awami Muslim League (AML) leader Sheikh Rashid on Tuesday predicted that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would quit his office, succumbing to the political pressure and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar would replace him. Speaking to a private TV channel, Rashid reiterated that there would be sacrifice before Eid ul Azha. “One or two important developments will take place over the next two days,” he said. He said that Ishaq Dar would be made interim Prime Minister while no decision was yet taken on Chief Minister of Punjab. Rashid said that he would stand with Tahir ul Qadri if he was targeted by the government. Responding to a question, he said that he would tender his resignation immediately after Imran Khan’s resignation was accepted by National Assembly Speaker.
