PMDC staff reposes confidence in new registrar





ISLAMABAD - Joint Executive Director of Children Hospital of Pakistan Institute Medical Sciences (PIMS) Dr. Raja Amjad Mehmood has been appointed as Registrar of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) after a notification by the Establishment Division.
President PMDC, the Executive Committee, PM&DC employees and all the other stakeholders have welcomed the decision and extended their full support to Dr. Amjad for assuming the charge of the office.
After taking the charge of the office, the Registrar called a meeting of all the PM&DC Officers regarding his posting as Registrar and the responsibilities and commitments for making PM&DC an exemplary regulatory authority. PMDC has a bigger role to play at national as well as international level for devising the best health regulatory system, he said.
It is pertinent to mention here that Dr. Amjad is a well-qualified health professional holding an extensive experience of working on various administrative posts during his professional career.
All the PM&DC officers assured their full support and commitment to come up to the expectations of the new Registrar and need of.
Juma Mohammad Mandokhail, PMDC Media Consultant, said that the employees have assured their full support in capabilities of the new Registrar, President Dr. Sibtil Hasnain and Vice President Dr. Asim Hussain and the executive committee.
He said that any media campaign against the reputation of PMDC and its management is biased and based on disinformation and all employees are happy with the timely decisions of the executive committee of PMDC and they will keep continue to work with the good reputation of PMDC as per decisions of the executive committee, registrar, vice president and the president of the PMDC.
