Police fail to recover kidnapped baby

ISLAMABAD (Online) Federal capital police have failed to recover a 3-year-old baby girl who was kidnapped from Edhi Home by a lady resident of of the home on 20 October. The three-year-old Anam was brought to Edhi Home when she was thrown into a graveyard after her birth and wild animals had bitten her face. A passerby saw her and brought her to Edhi Home, told Ayesha Shehzad, the attendant of Edhi Home. However a female attendant working in the Edhi Home kidnapped the baby on October 20 Ayesha Shehzad said that a lady who kidnapped the baby had been working here in the home for last four years, adding she belonged to Iran and was a paramedic. She often helps the women in their illness, so we had kept the baby in her supervision as she (the baby) needed more attention due to her being treated after plastic surgery, added by Ayesha Shehzad. She informed that on 20th October, the Iranian woman Farishty took the child with her to the doctor but did not return and she called once and told that doctor has admitted the baby in hospital and they will return n the next day, but later it was found that the child was not admitted in hospital. The miserable baby had suffered a lot and now I am afraid of that she might be used for begging, said the attendant.
