RAWALPINDI - PML-N candidate Chaudhry Umar Farooq won by-polls of PP-7 by thrashing PTI’s candidate Ammar Siddique here yesterday. According to unofficial results, of the total 167 polling stations, Chauhdry Umar Farooq bagged 46,800 votes and won the seat while his main rival Ammar Siddique who got 39,655 votes. The seat of PP-7 (Rawalpindi-VII) had fallen vacant after death of PTI MPA Siddique Khan. All the polling process in Urban and Rural area of constituency remained peaceful and no untoward incident was reported anywhere in the constituency.
