ISLAMABAD  – Use of spurious and substandard oil and ghee for cooking edibles is continuing in the federal capital markets, putting the health of people in danger.The vendors, whether sitting in the corner of a street or in big markets, were frying ‘samosas’, ‘pakoras’, fish, ‘chappal kabab’, French fries and ‘jalebis’ in substandard oil and using it again and again for many days. The number of stalls and vendors selling these edibles also increases in markets and streets of different sectors including G-6, G-7, G-8, G-9, G-10, F-8, F-10, I-9 and I-10. Almost every bakery and sweet shop starts selling such items outside their shops to meet the demand of customers.
