13-year-old boy molested at gunpoint

RAWALPINDI - A gang of three youngsters molested a 13-year-old child on gunpoint and made objectionable pictures of the satanic act apparently to blackmail the child to hide their sin, well placed sources disclosed to The Nation yesterday.
The horrific incident took place at New Abadi, Dhoke Thattial near Jhangri Shrine, the limits of Police Chowky Ranyal controlled by the Police Station Saddar Bairooni, they said.
Police Station Saddar Bairooni officials have lodged the First Information Report (FIR) under section 377 PPC on the complaint of father of victim child and arrested two accused. However, the third accused is still at large. Meanwhile, the father of the child accused police of twisting the facts of the incident and not filing FIR as per the circumstances he mentioned in the application.
According to sources, a gang of three youngsters namely Abu Huraira son of Changez Khan, Ramzan alias Poppy son of Javed and Adnan son of Changez Khan took a 13-year-old boy to the house of one Ramzan where they molested the child on gunpoint.
They said that the accused also captured objectionable pictures of the victim through their mobile phones and threatened him that they would make the pictures public if he would ever dare to tell his ordeal to anyone.
Later, the incident came into the notice of child’s parents through area’s people and they informed the police. Police while taking action registered FIR and arrested two accused. Sources said that police recovered a gun, mobile phones but did not show in record aimed to give a clean chit to the accused.
Talking to The Nation, the father of child said that his son was molested by three young men on gunpoint in a house in the area. “The rapists made objectionable pictures of my son and threatened him that they would make the pictures public if he dares to tell about the incident to anyone,” he said, adding the area people told him about the incident. Later, he said that his son told him each and every thing about the horrific act.
He said that he tabled an application before the police for legal action against the accused. “Police arrested two accused and recovered a gun, mobile phones and car but do not show the recovered items in the FIR, which is an injustice,” he added. He urged Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shehbaz Sharif to take action against the police officers and provide him justice.
ASI Ahmed Nawaz, investigation officer, when contacted confirmed the incident, saying police arrested two accused namely Abu Huraira and Ramzan and obtained their 5-day physical remand from the court of law. He added that the accused also confessed to their crime. He said that efforts were being made to arrest the third accused.
To a query, he replied police had registered case as per details mentioned by the father in the application and had not recovered weapon from the accused. “Yes I recovered mobile phones from the two accused but there was nothing objectionable found in the  mobile phones or memory cards,” he said. He said that investigation was continued and police would register another FIR if weapon was found from the possession of the accused. CPO was not available for his comments.
