Militants may ‘plot’ planes hijacking

ISLAMABAD - The secret agencies have revealed that militants can hijack passenger planes after terrorist attack on APS Peshawar claiming over 150 lives.
The secret agencies have revealed that terrorists are planning to hijack either a domestic or an international plane holding the passengers hostage and using them as a bargain chip for securing release of their incarcerated associates.
The interior ministry, reacting to the report of secret agency, has directed the airport security force (ASF) to beef up security of all the airports across the country, besides enhancing security in the surroundings of airports by deploying additional law enforcement agencies (LEAs) personnel.
The intelligence report said that terrorists, in order to get free their imprisoned accomplices could hijack the passenger planes, besides taking the passengers hostage to get their demands met.
