Candidates, 200 PTI workers booked over code violation

Islamabad - Islamabad police have booked candidates for the slots of chairman and vice chairman as well as over 200 workers of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf separately over violation of code of conduct for the local governments’ elections to be held on upcoming Monday.
According to the sources, police station Secretariat booked candidates for the slots of chairman and vice chairman Raja Ghulam Abbas and Siddiqullah respectively over violation of code of conduct.
Police station Golra booked over 200 workers of PTI for taking out a rally in violation of section 144 and amplifier act in the area of the police station, they added.
