Prime minister takes notice of MQM worker's killing

ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has taken notice of killing of MQM's worker Sohail Ahmed. He has given directions for investigation of the incident and submission of a report. Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan also sought report from DG Rangers Sindh and Inspector General Police Sindh about the incident.
He condoled with MQM over the incident and said no action beyond limit of law will be allowed.
Nisar Ali Khan also took the notice of murder of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) activist and sought report from Director General (DG) Rangers Sindh and Inspector General (IG) Sindh Police.
After serious reservations were raised by MQM leadership over killing of its worker Sohail Ahmed in Karachi, Chaudhry Nisar on Wednesday took serious notice of the incident and asked DG Rangers and IG Police Sindh to submit a report in this regard.
The Interior Minister while extending his heartfelt sympathies to MQM leadership over its workers' killing stated that the government will not allow extra-judicial killing of anyone.
Earlier, police found a dead body from Mochko area, the deceased was identified as Sohail Ahmed.
The post-mortem report of the deceased indicated that he was killed almost 24 hours ago. Following the incident, MQM has also called for a shutter-down all over Sindh on Thursday.
