SC forms four benches for next week





ISLAMABAD  – Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has constituted four benches including a larger bench at the principal seat to hear a number of important cases in the next week starting from Monday (July 30).
The first bench is comprised of Chief Justice, Justice Jawwad S Khawaja and Justice Khilji Arif Hussain, the second bench members included Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan, Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan and Justice Sh Azmat Saeed while the third bench consists of Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali, Justice Tariq Parvez and Justice Amir Hani Muslim.
The larger bench formed for hearing of contempt of court law consist of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Shakirullah Jan, Justice Tassaduq Jillani, Justice Jawad S Khawaja and Justice Khilji Arif Hussain.
It is pertinent to mention here that SC would take up several important cases include Asghar Khan’s case, Balochistan law and order situation, Bank of Punjab and case regarding illegal transplant of human organs. According to cause lists, no application for adjournment through fax will be placed before the Court.
