Politicians to celebrate Eid in hometowns
 
 
 

ISLAMABAD - The top leadership of various political parties will celebrate Eidul Fitr at their native towns, while Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif and some other leaders who were abroad have already celebrated Eid.
As Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif along with his family members were in Madina Munawara so he offered Eid prayers at Masjid-I-Nabvi while Pakistan People's Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has celebrated Eid in United States.
Former president and Co-Chairman of PPP Asif Ali Zardari has celebrated Eid in London while MQM chief Altaf Hussain has also marked Eid there.
Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif will be returning back from Saudi Arabia after a week long stay today (Monday) and after spending some time in federal capital he would flew to his hometown Lahore the same day and will spend rest of the day meeting with family friends and political aides.
He would likely meet the Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and foreign diplomats stationed here in federal capital and also have meeting with his close political aides to discuss the overall political situation in the country with specific reference to the upcoming Azadi March of Pakistan Tehreek-I-Insaf.
In a next few days the ruling Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) would devise its strategy of engaging the PTI leadership in meaningful dialogue.
President Mamnoon Hussain will offer Eid-ul-Fitr prayers in Islamabad and will leave for Karachi afterwards.
Federal Minister of Finance Ishaq Dar will also celebrate Eid in Lahore.
Imran Khan, chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, has marked Eid with IDPs in Bannu on Sunday and would be returning back to the federal capital where he would spend the day meeting with party leaders and family friends.
Jamiat-I-Ulema-I-Islam (Fazl) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman will celebrate Eidul Fitr at his native town Dera Ismail Khan.
